Received over the top help from a very educated man in the Garden Center. Gary was able to answer my questions and actually helped me get the products I needed. You don't usually find people like him in a big box store.
I have always been happy with Lowes, it is easy for me to find what I need and return things. I have also had great success with their installation contractor. You might not get "expert" help, but but for the most part the employees have been helpful.
Love Lowes! I have had the coolest experiences the last two times I have been here. I bought my hubby a fire pit for his birthday, they had rockstar customer service getting it out to my truck (it was big and heavy) and gave me an awesome deal on it (they gave me a little extra discount) on top of a coupon I had. And then the last time I went, they honored a coupon I had that had expired the month before. And it went something like this. Oh sure, we'd love to do that for you! And please let our customer service know about your experience. Their prices are great, they have an awesome selection. They have TONS OF seasonal fun stuff that I love and their plant selection is awesome. They are getting 4 stars because they don't know how to care for their succulents and cactus plants and I have bought several that have been drowned and died. One I gave as a gift and embarrassingly died. They spray them like the other plants. :( Otherwise, everything else is awesome. We love to go here and they treat us like one of the family.
My husband said "goodnight" to fat man, and he just gave him this look. We all have jobs, and if they don't like theirs, they can quit a job where they deal with customers ALL DAY. It's what they signed up for. Assholes.
I called this morning to Check their stock of lumber, the website did not have an accurate amount. Called x 2 and spoke with a rep at the front desk, I asked to be transferred to lumber. I was disconnected, and thought “dang, try again.” Called a second time same girl answered and transferred me to lumber. I waited longer, until the call went back to the front desk. She said “they never answer.” She put me on hold for them and the call was dropped. Now I got upset, I wanted to speak to a manager now. Called back, I am assuming they knew it was me; it went straight to the hold tone and then another hang up. Pretty mad now, called back and same thing. Hold, drop called. Called one more time and a young Hispanic girl answered named “Anna.” I asked to speak to a manager, she said she was one and that she is so sorry, I told her “for all I know it could of you been you doing this.” I let them know I would be taking my large purchase of cedar planks to Home Depot. I actually shredded my lowes card too. I have not regretted it yet. Poor customer service, no accountability.
The employees here are rude. We walked in about 15 mins before closing, and every single employee that we walked by just gave us a some kind of look. We didn't take more than 5 minutes to go in and out, to get some floor cleaning liquid. Fat guy with a salt and peppery beard was as rude as they come. Another lady with red hair, same dirty look.
